Operation is performed by 4 buttons and the integrated LC display.
The buttons “UP” (5) and “DOWN” (6) permits selection of a function or setting.
The button “OK” (7) is used to confirm a function selection or setting.
The button “ESC” (8) is used to cancel a function or to leave a submenu.

• If this has not been done yet, first set the data to be copied from the source hard disc to the

target hard disc (see Chapter 8. f).



Depending on the copy mode set there, it is necessary that the target hard disc
(“Target”) is the same or a larger capacity than the source hard disc (“Source”).
Observe Chapter 12.

• Use the buttons “UP” (5) or “DOWN” (6) to select the menu item “1.Copy”.

• Press the “OK” button (7).
• The two yellow LEDs (12) light up, the operating voltage for both hard discs is activated.
• The copy station now looks for the source hard disc (“Source”), the associated green LED

(11) lights up.

• The copy station inspects the size of source and target hard disc. Only when this is without

error will the copy process start:

The top right displays the size of the source hard disc (“Source”), the lower right the data
volume already copied.
In the lower left, the copy station shows the time that has already passed; to the right of it,
there is the percentage of how far the entire copy process has been completed.
