d) The First Touch-Down
Fly large, flat circles. Do not pull on the elevator too hard to reduce the flying altitude slowly. Select the last curve
before approaching for a landing so that you will touch down against the wind outdoors and so that, in case of an
emergency, you would have sufficient room for landing and so that you would not have to make any considerable
corrections to the course during the approach for a landing.
Always ensure sufficient flying speed and do not slow down the model by reducing the flight speed too much by
pulling too hard at the elevator. The model is only brought down with the elevator fully pulled through shortly before
touchdown. If the landing approach was too short, you can balance this out a little with some motor thrust.
After touch-down, adjust the linkage wires for the rudder and elevator so that the digital trimming is in the centre
position again and the model still flies straight.
18.    Maintenance and Care
a) General Information
Regularly check the functional safety of your remote control and smooth running of the gear motor. All moving parts
have to be easily movable but there should not be a clearance in the bearing.
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use any aggressive
cleansing agents or chemical solvents, since this might damage the surfaces.
  Important!

If you have to replace any damaged or worn parts, only use original replacement parts.
The spare parts list is located on our website www.conrad.com in the download section to the respective product.
