Our tip:
Generally, it is not required to additionally secure the flight battery in the model, because the battery is
retained by the fuselage parts. If these clamps slacken over the course of time, you can attach the flight
battery with a bit of Velcro tape or rubber rings.
f) Checking the servo settings
To ensure that the rudders have the same deflection on both sides, the servo levers must be at a 90° angle to the
control rods. You have to dismount the wing to check the correct position of the servo levers.
Then put the transmitter into operation and then switch on the receiver installation (see ill. 10, pos. 3) with the function
switch.
Once you turn on the receiver installation, the drive engine is not yet ready for operation. You can first
start the engine when the safety button is pushed while the receiver installation is on (see ill. 10, pos.6).
Slide the trim slider for the elevator and fin unit (see ill. 2, pos. 4 and 9) into central position and check the correct
position of the servo levers.
Both cross-shaped servo levers (1) must be aligned in
such a way that the control lever is at an exact 90° angle
to the control rods (2).
Slight deviations can be corrected with the trim sliders on
the transmitter.
In case of larger deviations, loosen the screw on the servo
lever (3), pull the lever upwards and attach it again shifted
by one “tooth”.
Once the position of the servo lever is right, screw in the
attachment screw again.
