Intended Use
This product is an assembly kit of a four wheel driven model vehicle.
To make the model vehicle ready for driving, various accessories are required (not included
in the delivery, must be ordered separately): Remote control (transmitter/receiver), steering
servo, speed control, drive battery (racing pack), tyres/rims, car body, batteries/rechargeable
batteries for transmitter, battery charger, double-sided adhesive tape, screw safety varnish. For
the assembly various tools are required which are not included in the delivery either.
The product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
Observe all safety instructions in this operating manual. They contain important information on
the handling of the product.
The information of this manual refers to some extent to the assembly kit, and partially also
to the vehicle assembled by you, which has been made ready for driving using additional
components (transmitter/receiver, steering servo, speed control, drive battery and so on, not
included in the delivery!).

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these operating instructions! No liability is accepted for consequential dama-
ges!

We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The war-
ranty will be void in such cases.

Furthermore, the warranty excludes normal wear and tear caused by normal
use (wear of cog wheels or toothed belts) and damage caused by accidents
(e.g. broken traverse control arm or chassis parts).

Dear customer, these safety instructions not only serve the protection of the
product but they also ensure your own safety and that of other persons. There-
fore, read this section carefully before you put the product into operation!
a) General
  Caution, important note!

During the operation of the model, personal injury and/or damage to property might
occur. Therefore, always make sure you are sufficiently insured for the use and ope-
ration of the model, e.g. make sure you have personal liability insurance. If you alrea-
dy have liability insurance, ask your insurance company if the model is covered too,
prior to putting the model into operation.
•  The product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children under the age of 14.
•  The product must not get damp or wet.
• Do not let packaging material lie around carelessly, it may become a dangerous toy for child-
ren.
•  Should there be any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions, please
contact us or another expert.
The operation and handling of remote-controlled model vehicles must be learnt! If
you have never used such a vehicle before, drive with particular care and first get
familiar with the vehicle‘s reactions to the remote control commands.  Be patient!
b) Assembly
•  During the assembly of the vehicle, there is a risk of injury through sharp edges, pointed parts
und improper use of tools.
•  If the assembly is carried out incorrectly, damage to vehicle components and a poor driving
performance later on may be the result.  Hence, take particular care when you assemble the
product.
•  Assemble the vehicle on a clean, sufficiently large, level and stable surface only. Protect the
surface, e.g. of a work bench, from scratch marks using a suitable, thick underlay.
•  Do not apply any force while assembling any parts; do not overwind the screws! However,
make sure screws, nuts, and so one are correctly tightened.
Use a suitable screw safety varnish for specific, particularly strained screws/nuts.
•  Use suitable, impeccable, high-quality tools for the assembly.
•  Take your time!
•  If you have never assembled this type of vehicle before, get the help of e.g. another model
maker who has more experience and knowledge. Especially at the beginning of a „model
maker career“ some good tips and support from a professional might help to eliminate many
problems.
•  After the assembly of the assembly kit you have to mount a suitable electric motor (Brush-
less), a speed control and a steering servo. These parts are not included in the delivery. They
have to be bought separately.
Rims/tyres as well as a car body are required too, which are not included in the delivery
either.
•  Fasten the speed control used and the receiver in the vehicle e.g. using a double-sided
adhesive tape.
•  Mount the receiver in the vehicle, as far as possible away from the speed control and motor.
The receiver antenna also must be located as far as possible away from the speed control
and the motor.
•  Do not bundle the cables between motor and speed control with control cables of the steering
servo and speed control or the antenna cable.
•  Make sure the cables of receiver, servo, motor and drive battery cannot enter parts of the
vehicle that are rotatable. Use cable ties to fasten the cables.
c) Operation and Use of the Assembled Vehicle
•  Each time before you put the product into operation, make sure no other models are used at
the same frequency within the range of the transmitter. Control over the remotely controlled
models will be lost! Even with 2.4 GHz remote control systems, only a specific maximum
number of vehicles can be operated simultaneously.
•  Prior to each start-up, you must check the trimming settings on the transmitter for forward
gear/reverse gear as well as the steering, and change them if required.
For  this  reason,  the  vehicle  wheels  must  not  yet  placed  onto  the  floor  during  start-up
(switching on the transmitter and the vehicle). Place the vehicle on a suitable surface so that
the wheels can rotate freely (do not touch the drive!).  Use a mounting support, for example,
or a so-called „car assembly stand“.
Then set the trimming so that the motor no longer rotates or the steering is in a straight positi-
on after you have completely released the lever for forward/backward travel (neutral position)
(an accurate adjustment for straight forward driving can be made later while the vehicle is
moving).
If necessary, re-program your speed control.
•  During start-up always switch the transmitter on first. Only after that may the vehicle drive
battery be connected to the speed control and the model be switched on. Otherwise, there
might be unpredictable reactions from the speed control/receiver and hence, of the electric
model!
Pull out the transmitter‘s telescope antenna completely (e.g. with 27/40 MHz transmitters). If
you use a 2.4 GHz transmitter, place the antenna in an upright position (provided the trans-
mitter has a foldable antenna). Place the antenna in the vehicle in such a manner that is in an
upright position.
Whilst driving the vehicle, do not point the tip of the transmitting antenna at the vehicle,
otherwise the transmission range will be significantly reduced.
The optimum range is accomplished if the receiver antenna and that of the transmitter are
vertical and parallel to each other.
•  Improper use may lead to severe personal injuries and damage to property! Drive only if you
have direct visual contact to the model. Therefore, never drive at night.
•  Drive only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. As with a real motor vehicle, fatigue,
influence of alcohol or medication may lead to erroneous reactions.
•  Please keep in mind that this model vehicle must not be used on public roads or routes.
Only operate the vehicle in private areas and in places that are particularly indicated for this
purpose.
•  Do not drive towards animals or humans!
•  Do not drive in rain, through wet grass, water, mud or snow. The model is not watertight or
water-proof.
•  Also avoid driving when the outdoor temperatures are very low. In cold weather the plastic
of the car body and parts of the chassis you used for the assembly might lose their elasticity,
which means that even minor accidents will lead to damage to the model.
•  Do not drive during thunderstorms, under high-voltage power lines or close to radio masts.
•  Take no risks when you operate the product! Your own safety and that of your environment
depend on your responsible use and handling of the model.
•  Always keep the transmitter switched on as long as the model is in use. To turn the vehicle off,
always switch the vehicle off first (speed control) and disconnect the drive battery completely
from the speed control. Only after that may the transmitter be turned off.
•  Prior to using the model, check that it reacts appropriately to the remote control commands.
