• Function #4, green LED, four brief flashes: Start mode when driving off
Depending on this setting, the starting torque is more or less powerful.
The higher the setting value, the more torque is transmitted to the drive when driving off - but this also increases the
current, and requires a higher quality battery to provide the high currents required for driving off.
• Function #5, green LED, one long flash: Maximum braking strength
The speed controller unit allows proportional braking strength depending on the setting of the transmitter lever. The
maximum braking power at full lever extension can be adjusted to 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.
A high setting (e.g. 100%) decreases braking distance but has a negative effect on the lifetime of the gears (drive
pinion gear, main gear and differential gears). Depending on the ground (e.g. sand), the vehicle may also swerve
and become uncontrollable when the braking force is too high. In this case, the braking force should be lowered.
• Function #6: green LED, one long and one brief flash: Max. reverse speed
The maximum speed for reversing can be programmed with this function. Settable values are 25%, 50%, 75% und
100%. We recommend setting the reverse speed to 50% so that the vehicle can be controlled better in reverse
driving.
If reverse driving has been switched off (see „Function #1“), this setting has no effect.
• Function #7: green LED, 1 long and 2 brief flashes: Minimum braking strength
This is where you can set the braking strength when the braking process begins (depending on the setting of the
transmitter throttle/braking lever).
The pre-setting is the same braking strength as the motor brake function (see „Function #2“), but values of 0%, 20%
and 40% can also be programmed.
When „0%“ is selected, the brake starts very softly. This is best, e.g. for slippery ground (e.g. sand).
• Function #8, green LED, 1 long and 3 brief flashes: Neutral range (for neutral setting on transmitter)
This function can set the range or area „D“ (see picture right) that
is recognised as the neutral position by the transmitter. For the
„D“ area, the values of 6%, 9% and 12% of the lever travel can be
set.
A = Neutral position = Mechanic centre position of the throttle/
brake lever
B = Full throttle
C = Full throttle reverse
D = Neutral position recognition range
E = Forwards range
F = Reverse range
