Use the supplied USB cable to connect the scanner to the
computer.
Turning the Power ON
The power of the scanner can be turned ON and OFF with the
power button on the front of the scanner.

Make sure that the scanner and computer are connected
properly with a USB cable.

Press the power button.
The power indicator lights blue when the power is ON.
When the scanner is turned on for the first time, the balloon
message shown below appears on the Windows task bar. If you wait
a while, automatic scanner recognition will end and the scanner will
become ready to use.

(CaptureOnTouch) icon appears on the taskbar as follows.
