HOW TO MAINTAIN THE AUTOMATIC ICE MAKER
Ice Maker 
Cleaning
Water supply container
Ice tray and water supply line can be washed.
Be sure to check the followings before starting the operation.
Go to the next step after checking them.
● When using for the fi rst time
● When not used for more than one week
 Recommended maintenance intervals
●  Remove the seal from the lid and wash it with a soft 
wash sponge.

Push the 
ICE MAKER button and hold it 
for more than 5 seconds after closing all the 
doors and turning on the display.
Release the button when 
“QUICK”/“NORMAL”/“OFF” 
indicator lamps fl ash and the buzzer sounds. 
“CLEANING” 
will start.
Put a clean towel on the bottom of the 
Ice Case.
That
’s because the towel can absorb water during 
the process of the Ice Maker Cleaning.
Turn the case and remove it from the 
lid.
Pull the tab of the water fi lter with 
fi ngers and remove it from the case.
Wash it with a soft wash sponge etc.
The buzzer will stop and the indicator lamp 
will be turned off in about 3 minutes. After 
that, remove water in the Ice case together 
with the towel and 
wipe the case.
(Wipe up water from the 
case before removing it.)
・ The indicator lamp will fl ash and the buzzer will sound for about 
3 minutes.
・ 
“CLEANING” can’t be interrupted.
・ Opening any door of the refrigerator during the “CLEANING” 
may cause malfunction. Do not open/close any door until 
“Ice 
Maker Cleaning
” fi nishes.
・ Alarm will sound even after the Door Alarm is set as off.
Water which doesn't contain chlorine may easily cause slime and/
or fur compared with tap water. Wash the Water Supply Container 
regularly to prevent bacteria from breeding when such water is used.
There is no problem with using 
water remaining in the water supply 
container, if any.

・If there remains ice, 
remove it.

Mineral water, well water, water purifi ed by water 
purifi er, cooled boiled water, etc. (water which doesn't
