3.3.5 TCSU TC12 OTU Commissioning Procedure
Reset OTU and select TCSU default configuration data.
Enter the following commands:
GME=249 (Access code)
LRN=53 }
CNN=117 } (Reset Codes)
TKE=191 }
Remove Mains power from the OTU, wait for a few seconds, then re-apply
power.
Note: The value of 191 for TKE selects TCSU default configuration data but only
when used to perform a complete OTU reset as detailed above.
To set up OTU address and enable communication.
Enter the following commands:
GME=249 (Access Code)
GAD=0 to 5 (OTU address - 6 OTUs on an Instation Modem)
GOE=1 (Enables Control and Reply)
Enter the following commands:
GME=249 (Access Code)
GAD=0 to 5 (OTU address - 6 OTUs on an Instation Modem)
GOE=1 (Enables Control and Reply)
Note
The read-only handset command GDD can be used to indicate the default configuration
data loaded when the OTU was last initialised.
GDD = 0 Normal Default values
GDD = 1 TCSU Default values
