Setting the current limit value   

The rotary coding switch for setting the operating current I

e 

(0.15 … 2 A, 1.5 … 9 A or 

1.5 … 12 A depending on the device version) is located under the cover on the front of the 

starter.

Before commissioning the motor starter, set the operating current I

e

 for the overload trip:   

 

Step 

Procedure 

1 

Open the transparent cover at the top of the housing for the motor starter. 

2 

Use a screwdriver to set the operating current I

e

 on the scale of the rotary coding switch. 

3 

Close the transparent cover. 

 

 

 

Note 
In the delivery condition, the minimum current limit is set. 
Changes to the position of the rotary coding switch require approx. 500 ms to take effect.
