The freeConnect 2400 provides an easy and inexpensive way to create or extend your network.  
With its 24 10/100Mbps ports supporting up to 200 Mbps of bandwidth per port, adding 
additional clients is fast and simple.  Its chassis is designed to fit into a standard 19” rack and 
only takes up 1U of space, ideal for medium to large workgroups. 

The freeConnect 2400 uses store-and-forward switching to ensure that the buffer is allocated 
efficiently for each port, while controlling the data flow between nodes to prevent packet loss. 

If one of the following situations arises, the equipment should be checked by service personnel. 
•  The power cord is damaged. 
•  Liquid has leaked into the equipment. 
•  The equipment has been exposed to excessive moisture. 
•  The equipment does not work properly and you can not get it to work after reading this 

manual. 

•  The equipment has been dropped and damaged. 
•  The equipment shows obvious signs of damage.
