Vpacket 5100/6100 Series Reference Manual
set systemInfo
These commands provide VDR-specific information to be defined and updated as needed. These
commands differ by element, such as address, product information, or contact name. You need to
enclose information that contains spaces within quotation marks.
Syntax: set systemInfo <command> <string>
Syntax: set systemInfo <command> <string>
set systemInfo address <string up to 64 characters to list the street address of the company>
set systemInfo city <string up to 64 characters to identify the city name>
set systeminfo company <string up to 32 characters to specify the company name>
set systemInfo email <string up to 64 characters to specify an e-mail contact>
set systemInfo fax <string up to 20 characters to specify the company fax number>
set systemInfo location <string up to 64 characters to specify the physical location of the

Example:
In this example, the 5100/6100 VDR is issued the name “Seahorse_1” and is located in Network
Room 1 of the company San Simeon Communications, Inc. The company contact information
and the administrator of the 5100/6100 VDR system is also listed.
