Setting the Default Stapling Option
If your printer has a finisher, the Stapling Options setting specifies the default for stapling
output. Print jobs use the default stapling option unless a different option is selected in the
printer driver when a job is sent to the printer.

To select the default stapling option, use one of the following options:

Using the Control Panel
The factory default option for stapling is None. To set the default stapling option on the control
panel:

Printer Setup
, and then press the OK button.

Paper Handling Setup
, and then press the OK button.

Select
Stapling Options
, and then press the OK button.
4.
Select the appropriate stapling option, and then press the OK button.
Using CentreWare IS
To select the default stapling option using CentreWare IS:
1.
Launch your web browser.
2.
Enter the printer’s IP address in the browser’s Address field (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).
3.
Click Properties.

Select General on the left sidebar, and then select Printer Defaults.
5.
Select the appropriate option from the Stapling Options drop-down list.
6.
Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
