Telephoning as usual
Diverting calls
Changing call diversion remotely*
You can call your communication server from outside to set up or change call
diversion for your telephone or for other telephones. This is possible from any
telephone with DTMF suffix dialing.
Select the subscriber whose call diversion is to be changed:

Dial
the
phone
number
of
your
communication
server, e.g. 069 7505, from the external telephone.

Enter the source discrimination code for your system, e.g. 89. You will
hear a dial tone as confirmation.

Enter the phone number of the subscriber for which you want
to change the call diversion, e.g. 6055.

Enter your secret PIN number, e.g. 1234.
Now you can set up, change or deactivate call diversion:
Setting up or changing call diversion:

Enter codes for "Activate follow me", e.g. star key, 14.

Enter
the
system's external line code and
the phone number to which you want to divert calls, e.g. 00897543. As confirmation,
an acknowledgement tone sounds after a short time.
Deactivating call diversion:

Enter the code for "Deactivate follow me", e.g. pound key, 14.
• "Changing call diversion remotely" must be approved by your system
administrator. The service department will also tell you the source
discrimination code and the secret PIN number.
• In some cases, you can only set up call diversion from certain, pre-set
telephones. You can obtain more information about this from your system
administrator.
