On the General page, verify that the Yes radio button is selected and that the Firmware Version field
states the new firmware version.

If the access point is not yet connected to the Internet and you want it to become ready for cloud
management, connect it to the Internet.
Wait several minutes. The access point must get an Internet connection and reach an NTP server.
You can also connect the access point to the Internet later. In that case, skip this step
and the following step. After you reset the access point to factory default settings as
described in Step 18, the access point is not ready for cloud management until you
connect it to the Internet.

To verify that the access point can reach an NTP server, make sure that the Current Time field on the
General page (see the previous figure) shows the correct time for the configured time zone.
