route via the Cisco AM GW will not fail but will be routed directly. Any calls that are routed directly will

Cisco VCS in non-B2BUA mode
Configure the neighbor zone to the Cisco AM GW: non-B2BUA mode
Create a neighbor zone called, for example, “To AM Gateway”.
