This is configured in 4 stages:
Video network Cisco VCS Control configuration
“OCS/Lync gateway” VCS Control configuration (1)
OCS or Lync Server configuration
“OCS/Lync gateway” VCS Control configuration (2)
Video network: Cisco VCS Control configuration
The video network must have a link to the “OCS/Lync gateway”; to configure this:
1. Set up a neighbor zone to the “OCS/Lync gateway” VCS (cluster).
2. Set up a search rule to route calls to the shared OCS/Lync domain to the “OCS/Lync gateway”
VCS (cluster).
3. Set up search rules to route calls to any other domains supported on OCS/Lync (but not in the
video network) to the “OCS/Lync gateway” VCS cluster — there may be none of these.
Note: in small test and demo networks this configuration is not necessary - the video network Cisco
VCS is the Cisco “OCS/Lync Server Gateway” VCS. Go to ‘“OCS/Lync gateway”: VCS Control
configuration (1)’ on page 34.

Video network: Set up a neighbor zone to the “OCS/Lync gateway”

2. Click New.
3. Configure the following fields:

An appropriate name, for example “To OCS/Lync gateway”

gateway” VCS for TLS mode SIP)
