This dimmer is controlled by trailing-edge phase cut; it is used with low-voltage halogen 
lamps with electronic transformer, filament lamps, high-voltage halogen lamps, and other 
ohmic loads. 
Standard function: ON/OFF/dimming, 2-pushbutton function with memory.
Selectable functions: ON/OFF/dimming, 2-pushbutton function without memory and 
with settable brightness after switching on, ON/OFF defined with 2-pushbutton functions, 
UP/DOWN/DIM defined with 2-pushbutton functions, 1-pushbutton function with memory, 
staircase lighting with settable switching off time and advance OFF warning, save and 
activate 4 light scenarios at the touch of a button (i.e. for a 4-channel transmitter one light 
scenario per pushbutton).

The plug adapter has a protection function for unsuited kinds of load and switches OFF 
automatically.
