Resolved Caveats
The following caveats are resolved in version 11.56:
CSCdx03420—The default setting for the Require use of Radio Firmware X.XX setting on the
AP/Root Radio Advanced page is now yes instead of no. This setting prevents the AP radio from
going down when when you upgrade or downgrade firmware.
CSCdx03869—Non-initial fragments (that only have the IP header info, but no UDP port info) are
no longer blocked by IP port filters defined on the access point.
CSCdx07970—You can now restore defaults on the Ethernet Protocol Filters and Root Radio
Protocol Filters pages in the CLI.
CSCdx11703—Hot standby packets no longer flood the network.
CSCdy12876—1200 series access points no longer lock up under extremely large bursts of Ethernet
traffic.
CSCdy13227—The repeater statistics page is now operational. When you associate a repeater
access point to a root access point, a link to the repeater appears on the root access point’s Summary
Status screen. When you click the link, the page now appears.
CSCdw16742—Broadcast key rotation now works with repeater access points.
CSCdx19068—Unlimited LEAP logins configuration on ACS server no longer locks out roamed
clients. When the ACS server’s session policy is configured for other than unlimited simultaneous
LEAP logins and a LEAP-enabled client device roams away from the access point long enough for
a STOP record to appear in the Radius Accounting log, the client now can reauthenticate.
CSCdx19118—The access point no longer reboots when more than 23 workgroup bridges are
associated to it and you change the SSID, the Classify Workgroup Bridges as Network Infrastructure
setting, or the Requested Status setting.
CSCdy27377—The Least Congested Channel feature now works for the 5-GHz radio.
CSCdx32469—When you set up a standby access point with Open authentication with Require EAP
enabled and with LEAP enabled, the radio on the monitored access point no longer shuts down.
CSCdw39535—Disabling or enabling the Aironet Extensions setting on the access point no longer
requires a restart of the access point radio.
CSCdx41471—Enabling MIC on 1200 series access points no longer decreases throughput by up to
30% for the access point’s highest data rates.
CSCdy43717—The access point now allows IPX client devices to join the network.
CSCdx51311—If you lose or forget the password required to log into the access point management
system, you can now use the :resetall command in the CLI even if you select no for the the Allow
Read-only Browsing Without login
setting on the User Manager Setup page.
CSCdx54135—When the access point loads a .ini file and encounters a command that requires it to
reboot, the access point now commits changes before rebooting.
CSCdx54863—When you manually configure the Ethernet/Duplex settings on the access point, the
settings are applied correctly.
CSCdw64129—The access point now sends an accounting request to the ACS server when an
EAP-enabled client device that is already authenticated on the network re-authenticates using a
different user name through the LEAP Manual Login option in the Aironet Client Utility (ACU).
