Configuration One: Distributed DNCS Disabled and Network Binding Disabled
Creating New Hubs
1 From the DNCS Administrative Console, click the DNCS tab, and then click the

6 Click in the Network Id field and type a unique Network ID.
Note: The Network ID is the identifier of the network information table (NIT)
table in DVB ASI. You need this Network ID when you create the NIT tables on
the SI-Server.

7 Click Save. The system saves the hub information in the DNCS database and
closes the Set Up Hub window. The Hub List window updates to include the
new hub.

8 Do you need to modify a hub?
If yes, go to Modifying a Hub (on page 23).
If no, go to Set Up MPEG Sources (on page 34).
Note: If you need to delete a hub, go to Deleting a Hub, later in this section.
Modifying a Hub
After you have created and saved a hub, you can only modify the hub name.
Important: To change any other parameters, you must delete the hub, and then
re-add it to the DNCS, using the new information. To delete a hub, go to Deleting a
Hub, next in this section.
