Accessing Units via telnet
To access units via telnet
1.
Ensure that the unit’s Internet IP address has been configured, the unit has a working Ethernet
connection, and wire and remote access has been enabled (see

From the DOS prompt, type

where <IP address> is the IP address of the unit that you want to configure.

Setting VT100 Arrows
To set the VT100 arrows in Microsoft telnet

In the active Microsoft telnet 1.0 session, select Terminal, Preferences from the menu bar. The
Terminal Preferences window is displayed.

Click the VT100 Arrows checkbox.

Click OK. The VT100 arrows are enabled in the telnet session.
You can now use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate the configuration menus.
