Use a zero potential make-contact or switch as the actuator (with a bounce-free contact

system).

The 12 V output can be controlled by the Alarm Task editor and it can be enabled via the web

interface.

Connect audio devices to the audio input and audio output connectors.

The unit has full-duplex mono audio for two-way communication between a speaker or door

intercom system. The audio input signal is transmitted in sync. with the video signal.

Line input level (not suitable for direct microphone signal); impedance 18 kOhm typical;

1 Vrms maximum input voltage.

Line output level (not suitable for direct speaker connection); impedance 1.5 kOhm minimum;

0.85 Vrms maximum output voltage.

Use shielded audio connection cable with advised maximum cable lengths for audio line input

and output levels.

After installing the surface mounting plate, the camera base needs to get connected and

installed.

Surface mounting plate installed (and prepared for on-ceiling cable routing, if necessary)

Camera base and top separated

–

On-site wiring (network, power, alarm, 12 V, audio) prepared, terminal installed

Network cabling wound in a service loop

PoE power supplies or 12 V/24 V power supplies switched off and disconnected from

power sources.

Installing the base is a simple, tool-free, click-on process.

Locate the 

network cable inlet (1) and pass the network cable into the base.
