Choose Firewall > Traffic Control. 

Set Traffic Control to Manual. 

Select an enabled SSID from the

 

Select enabled SSID drop-down list box for traffic control. 

Set the SSID-specific maximum upload and download speeds in the Radio X: Selected SSID 
text boxes. 

Set the maximum upload and download speeds per user in the User Rate text boxes for the 
SSID. 

Click Save. 

 

Parameter description 

Traffic Control 

It specifies whether to enable traffic control. 

− 

Disable (Default): It indicates that the traffic control function is disabled. 

− 

Manual: It indicates that manual traffic control is implemented. 

− 

Smart: It indicates that automatic traffic control is implemented. 

Select enabled SSID 

It specifies an enabled SSID for which traffic control must be implemented. 

Radio 

x:SSID 

It specifies the maximum upload and download speeds corresponding to the selected 
SSID. The blank values indicate that the maximum upload and download speeds are 
not limited. 

User Rate 

It specifies the maximum per-user upload and download speeds corresponding to the 
selected SSID. The blank values indicate that the maximum per-user upload and 
download speeds are not limited. 

Choose Firewall > Traffic Control. 

Set Traffic Control to Smart.
