Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the PA amplifier, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the casing. If you have
reason to believe that the power amplifier can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and make sure
it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the mains plug from the mains socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device is visibly damaged
• the device no longer works
• the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
• after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Always observe the following safety information before cleaning or servicing the power amplifier:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The corresponding device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing
or repair work is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all power sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must
perform repairs.
Fuse Replacement
If the fuse must be replaced, observe that only fuses of the indicated type and rated current (see Technical Data) must
be used.
Never repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• After the device is disconnected from the mains (pull mains plug!), remove the fuse holder’s (5) fuse cap with the
defective fuse by turning it carefully.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Carefully screw the fuse cap with the new fuse back into the fuse holder (5) now.
• After this, you can reconnect the device to the mains and take it into operation.
Cleaning
The outside of the amplifier should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the casing.
