3.
Plug one side of the cloning cable mini USB
connector to the first SUC and the other end to
the second SUC.
Note:
During the cloning process, no power is

not be charged. Only data communication is
being established between the two radios.
4.
Turn ON the Target Radio and place it into one
of the SUCs.
5.
For the Source Radio, power ON the radio with
the following sequence:
Press the PTT button and the SB2 button

When the cloning is completed, the Source
Radio audible voice will announce either
“successful” (cloning is successful) or “fail”
(cloning process has failed). If the Source
Radio is a display model radio, it will either
show ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail’ on the display (a tone will

Radios OFF and ON or, long press the PTT
button to exit the ‘cloning’ mode.
What To Do If Cloning Fails
The radio audible voice will announce “Fail”
indicating that the cloning process has failed. In
the event that the cloning fails, perform each of
the following steps before attempting to start
cloning process again:
1.
Ensure that the batteries on both radios are fully
charged.
2.
Check the cloning cable connection on both
SUCs.
3.
Ensure that the battery is engaged properly on
the radio.
