Turn the power on by pressing the [SRC] 
button.  
Press and hold [SRC] button to turn the 
power off.

Pressing the [SRC] button repeatedly 
switches among sources.

The source “iPod”, “CD”, and “Pandora” can 
be selected when it is ready 

to play.

 

Press the [   ] button to switch the 
source to PANDORA Internet radio.

 

 

Press the [iPod] button to switch the 
source to iPod.

Turn the Control knob to adjust the 
sound volume.

A USB device or iPod can be connected. 
The CA-U1EX or KCA-iP102 (optional 
accessories) is recommended to connect 
a USB device or iPod.

A portable audio device can be 
connected with a stereo mini-plug (3.5 
mm ø).

Pressing

 the [DISP] button repeatedly 

switches among 5 (KDC-X896/ 
KDC-BT852HD/ KDC-X496/ KDC-452U)/ 4 
(KMR-550U) types of display.
You can select the information to be 
displayed. Refer to <Display settings> 
(page 28) in Instruction manual.

Keep the [DISP] button pressed down 
to scroll through the CD or audio file text 
display.
