To enter interface serial mode port 1, channel group 3 in ip-interface 1:

X330W-2DS1(configure)# interface Serial 1:3

Use the

 interface Serial 

command to create and/or enter 

interface Serial

 

context. For LAN interfaces, use this command to create the interface. The

 form 

of this command deletes an IP interface.

The controller number (port number) for this serial port. For 
the X330W-2DS1, this value is either 1 or 2.

sub-interface

The Sub-interface number. An integer from 0 to 1024.

ip-interface

The IP interface number within this interface (as a number of 
IP interfaces might be bound to a Layer 3 interface). An integer 
from 0 to 1024.

Point-to-point.
