Routing Commands
This chapter provides a detailed explanation of the Routing commands. 
Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) Commands
This chapter provides a detailed explanation of the ARP commands. The commands are divided by 
functionality into the following different groups:
Show commands are used to display switch settings, statistics and other information. 
Configuration Commands are used to configure features and options of the switch. For every 
configuration command there is a show command that will display the configuration setting.
Copy commands are used to transfer configuration and informational files to and from the 
switch. 
arp 
This command creates an ARP entry. The value for <ipaddress> is the IP address of a device on a 
subnet attached to an existing routing interface. <macaddr> is a unicast MAC address for that 
device. 
The format is 6 two-digit hexadecimal numbers that are separated by colons, for example 
00:06:29:32:81:40.

arp <ipaddress> <macaddr>

no arp 
This command deletes an ARP entry. The value for <arpentry> is the IP address of the interface. 
The value for <ipaddress> is the IP address of a device on a subnet attached to an existing routing 
interface. <macaddr> is a unicast MAC address for that device.
