–  The audio codec may not be supported by this unit.

–  Check that fi le size of the movie does not exceed the 

fi le size of the disc during downloading.

–  Check that the DivX movie downloaded is a complete  

fi le.

–  Make sure the fi le name extension is correct. You can 

check this using a computer with CD-ROM.

–  The player is designed to play DVD, VCD, CD audio, 

MP3 and DivX

®

 discs only. Other digital audio formats 

such as liquid audio, RM (RealMedia), WAV or non-
audio fi les like ‘.doc’, ‘.txt’, ‘.pdf’ are not supported.

–  Try to play the problem DivX

®

 fi les on a computer. 

If they do not work, the source fi le appears to be 
corrupted.

–  Try to download the fi le again from a different source. 

If you have created the fi le yourself, save it with the 
correct settings.

–  You will not hear any sound from the HDMI output if 

the source device is only DVI/HDCP (High-bandwidth 
Digital Content Protection)-compatible.

–  It is not possible to output or copy-controlled DVD-

Audio sources from the HDMI connection.

–  Make sure that the audio output setting is not turned 

off. See ‘Setup Menu Options - { Audio Setup Page - 
HDMI Audio Setup }’ for details.

–  HDMI connection can only be made to HDMI-

equipped devices with HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital 
Content Protection). If you wish to connect to a DVI 
connector (equipped with HDCP), you need a 
separate adaptor (DVI to HDMI).

–  Make sure the resolution of this unit matches the 

device you have connected using the HDMI. See 
‘Setup Menu Options - { Video Setup Page - HDMI 
Video Setup }’ for details.  

–  During resolution selection for DVI TV, a distorted or 

black screen may appear, see HDMI Video Setup.
