BI-AMPLIFIED SYSTEM CONNECTIONS
A bi-amplified system may provide increased sonic performance,
with independent amplifier channels separately driving each set of
high- and low-frequency transducers. You can connect F50a loud-
speakers in a vertical or horizontal bi-amplified system without
requiring an extra electronic crossover. 
VERTICAL BI-AMPLIFIED SYSTEM
Using two identical amplifier channels, remove the shorting straps
from the rear panel; then connect each F50a loudspeaker, as shown
in Figure 10 (below).
CAUTION: Failure to remove the shorting straps when bi-amplify-
ing may damage some amplifiers.
NOTE: When using two dissimilar amplifiers, connect the F50a loud-
speakers in a horizontal bi-amplified system (see next section).
