Revel Performa F50a loudspeakers use high-order crossovers with
steep roll-offs to minimize damage caused by “out of band”
frequencies. Using this approach, in combination with carefully
selected components and transducers, helps minimize the potential
for loudspeaker failure, even under extreme conditions. However,
there is a limit to how loud any speaker can play continuously.
Avoid playing the system at volume levels beyond where the sound
is “clean.” If the sound becomes distorted or strained, reduce the
volume level immediately to avoid damage.
