PSAMCAdaper.exe 

This is the PeopleSoft Adapter service.  It 

is installed as a service and runs under 
the system account. 
The service name is PSAMCAdapter 
This service is used to control the 

PSMCAPI adapter and its Java machine.  
Starting the service launches the 

PSMCAPI adapter; stopping it shuts down 
the adapter. 
Note that this service cannot be 

controlled using the Administration Tool.  
You must use the Services manager.

adapter JAR files.  (Java archive files).
