As a result of the peer-link failure, all traffic in Figure 20 takes the path on the left through the vPC primary device.
This is true both for the client-to-server traffic and the server-to-client traffic.
The following show command entered on the secondary vPC peer illustrates the results of the vPC peer-link failure:
tc-nexus7k02-vdc2# show vpc br
vPC domain id : 1
Peer status : peer link is down
vPC keep-alive status : peer is alive
vPC role : secondary
