4.1.1 Ethernet Virtual Circuit
An Ethernet Virtual Circuit (EVC) represents a Carrier Ethernet service and is an entity that
provides an end-to-end connection between two or more customer endpoints. The instance of
a specific EVC service on the physical interface of each network device through which the EVC
passes is called an Ethernet Flow Point (EFP).
