3 Install the crowbar surge protector in the surge protector slot. Refer to the
following illustration.

Make sure that all the pins on the crowbar surge protector bottom align with
the pin holes in the surge protector slot, allowing the surge protector to
install flat against the RF module.

4 Secure the cover to the RF module and tighten the cover screws. Tighten slotted
head screws to 6 to 9 in-lb (0.7 to 1.0 Nm), or cross head screws from 18 to 20 in-
lb (2.0 to 2.25 Nm).
Important: The cover should lie completely flat on the RF module chassis. Make
sure none of the RF module accessories prevent the cover from lying flat.
