Introduction
Important: This section applies only to systems using MQAM modulators. If you are

After you add an MPEG source, if you are using a program MQAM modulator to
receive data from that source, you must add the MQAM modulator. A program
MQAM modulator (sometimes called a service MQAM modulator) receives program
and service data (for example, audio/video programming and Web services). The
MQAM modulator then encrypts the data, if needed, and modulates it onto an RF
carrier for distribution to DHCTs.

Before You Begin
Before you begin, you must have your network map. If you cannot locate your
