Synchronizing Accounts
From the Accounts menu, you decide whether you want
applications to synchronize, send, and receive data at any
given time, or whether you want the applications to
synchronize automatically.
After determining how you want the accounts to synchronize,
indicate which account to synchronize with your Contacts
list.
1. From a Home screen, touch
 Apps
Contacts.
2. Touch

Menu then touch Accounts.
3. Touch the check box to the right of the Auto sync app
data field to turn auto sync on.
4. Touch OK to synchronize all accounts.
5. Your contacts are synchronized with all your accounts.
Using the Service Dialing Numbers
You can view the list of Service Dialing Numbers (SDN)
assigned by your service provider. These numbers may
include emergency numbers, customer service numbers, and
directory inquiries.
1. From a Home screen, touch
 Contacts ➔
Menu ➔ Settings.
2. Touch Service numbers.
3. Scroll through the numbers and touch a number to call.
Note: This menu is available only when your SIM card
supports Service Dialing Numbers.
Joined Contacts
Many people now maintain multiple email, social networking,
and other similar accounts. Your phone can synchronize with
multiple accounts, including Facebook, Google, Corporate
Exchange, and other email providers.
When you synchronize your phone with these accounts, each
account creates separate contact entries for in the Contacts
list. Consequently, you may have multiple contact entries for
one person.
Linking, or joining, imported contact records allows you to
see all the contact’s numbers and addresses together in one
contact entry. Linking also helps you keep your contacts
updated, because any changes that your contacts make to
their information in the respective accounts is automatically
updated the next time you synchronize with the account.
For more information about synchronizing accounts, see
“Synchronizing Accounts” on page 67.
