Gmail

Gmail is Google’s web-based email. When you first setup the 
phone, Gmail is configured. Depending on the 
synchronization settings, Gmail is automatically synchronized 
with your Gmail account.

If you did not set up a Google account during the initial 
configuration, the first time you launch Gmail, your device 
prompts you to set up your Google account.

1. From a Home screen, touch 

 Apps ➔ 

 Gmail.

The Add a Google Account screen displays.

2. Follow the prompts to sign in or create a new account. 

The device communicates with the Google server to set 

up your account and synchronize your email. When 

complete, your Gmail displays in the Inbox.

Note: You can use more than one Google account on your 

phone. To add another account, touch 

 Apps ➔ 

Gmail ➔ 

 Menu ➔ Settings ➔ ADD ACCOUNT.

There are four options available from the Gmail inbox:

1. From a Home screen, touch 

 Apps ➔ 

 Gmail.

2. Touch  

Compose to compose a new message. For 

3. Touch  

Search to search through your Gmail 

messages.

4. Touch  

Labels to set up and manage Labels for 

your Gmail messages.

5. Touch 

 Refresh to refresh the screen, send and 

receive new emails, and synchronize your email with 

the Gmail account.

To create a Gmail message:

1. From a Home screen, touch 

 Apps ➔ 

 Gmail.

2. Touch  

Compose.
