You can select tone curves, specify the sharpness and contrast, and then register up to 3 sets 
of these settings on the camera.

For more information on setting the processing parameters on the camera, refer to “Setting 
the Processing Parameters” in the camera’s Instruction Manual.

This function is compatible with the EOS-1Ds Mark II, EOS-1D Mark II, EOS-1Ds and 
EOS-1D.

Click the [Parameters] button

The [Parameters settings] dialog box 
appears.

With the EOS-1Ds and EOS-1D, click the 
[Add Set] button and in the dialog box that 
appears, select the set which will be 
added to the camera.

Select the [Set 1], [Set 2], or [Set 3] tab.

Specify desired settings.

With the EOS-1Ds Mark II and EOS-1D Mark II, the following dialog box appears.
Specifying the Parameters
Drag the slider left or right to specify the sharpness and contrast.
Applies the settings to the camera.
[Standard]:
The standard tone curve is set.
[TCD 1] through [TCD 3]:
The tone curve that has been loaded in 
“Specifying the Tone Curve” (p.4-13) is set.
Closes the dialog box.

With the EOS-1Ds and EOS-1D, the following dialog box appears.

Click the [Apply to camera] button.

The [Confirm settings] dialog box appears.

Confirm the settings and click the [Yes] or [Apply to Camera] button.

The parameter is registered on the camera.

Click the [Close] button.

The [Parameters settings] dialog box closes.
[Standard]:

[TCD1] through [TCD3] (EOS-1Ds), 
[User Defined] (EOS-1D):
The tone curve that has been loaded in 
“Specifying the Tone Curve” (p.4-13) is set.
Select the items to be set from each list box.
The tone curve to be registered in [TCD1] through 
[TCD3] or [User Defined] is set (p.4-13).
Adds a new set.*
Deletes a selected set.*
* Displayed when connected to the EOS-1D.
Displays the Help dialog box.
Closes the dialog box.
