Never overload wall sockets, extension sockets and multiple socket
powerstrips, as this may result in sparks or fire.
Make sure that the projector is placed properly so that no one will step on the
power cord or its cables because this may damage or cause fraying.
Turn off the power of the projector and unplug its power cable from the wall
socket before cleaning. Use a damp cloth and avoid using liquid or aerosol
cleaners.
Make sure not to block the openings or slots on the projector. These open-
ings are for ventilation to keep the machine from overheating. Do not place
the projector on your sofa, carpet, any soft material, or in a closet that does
not provide ventilation.
Make sure no items or no liquid is squeezed into or spilled into the housing
slots.
Unless specially instructed in this manual, never try to do any service by
yourself. Opening the cover of the projector to perform repairs is dangerous,
especially when handling the high-voltage parts inside the machine. Be sure
to have qualified service personnel for carrying out service maintenance.
Unplug the power cord of the projector from the wall socket during a thunder-
storm or when the projector will not be operated for a long period of time. Do
not place the projector and the remote control on any heat-emitting equip-
ment or in a hot space (e.g., in a motionless car).
Under the following conditions, unplug the projector from the wall socket and
refer the problems to qualified service personnel.
If the power cable or plug is damaged or frayed,
If liquid spills into the projector or if it has been exposed to rain,
If the projector is not able to work although you have followed the
setup instructions,
If the performance of the projector has a noticeable change and
needs repair,
If the projector has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
