Remote Fax Options
Fax Forwarding/Paging
Programming a Fax Forwarding Number
When Fax Forwarding is set to ON, your MFC stores the received fax in 
memory, then dials the fax number you’ve programmed and forwards the fax 
message.

Press Menu/Set251.

, and then press 
Menu/Set

The LCD prompts you to enter the 
number of the fax machine where faxes 
will be forwarded. Enter the forwarding 
number (up to 20 digits), and then press Menu/Set

Press Stop/Exit.
Programming Paging Number
When Paging is selected, your MFC dials the pager number you’ve programmed, 
and then dials your Personal Identification Number (PIN); this activates your 
pager so you know you have a fax message in the memory.

Enter your pager phone number (up to 20 
digits) followed by # #, and then press 
Menu/Set.  Do not include the area code 
if it is the same as that of your MFC.

You cannot use Paging and Fax Forwarding at the same time. 
You cannot use Paging and Fax Forwarding when Fax Storage is set to 
 OFF
