About the LifeVest system
The LifeVest device continuously monitors your heart. If it detects a life
threatening rhythm that is too fast, the device delivers treatment to restore
normal rhythm. If you are conscious, you can prevent a treatment by using the
response buttons when the device alerts you that a treatment is coming.
