y
Do not attempt to open the monitor, battery, charger, or electrode belt. This
may expose you to high voltage and damage the system.
Rescue defibrillation
y
If you should require conventional defibrillation, a warning label on the
garment informs medical personnel to unfasten and lay open the garment,
thus removing the front therapy pad from your chest. If the garment remains
fastened and connected, the LifeVest device may interfere with the
defibrillation, and the conventional defibrillator may damage the device.
