8 Project Specification
The product was made per the specification described in this chapter.
8.1 Brief
The BioRad RFID Reader v2 project is a continuation and expansion of the BioRad A1-PC1 v1.2 prototype project
which was delivered to the client and tested with positive results. The board was supplied with a RFID A1-1.107
module and RFID A1-1 v2.0.1460 firmware version. A PCB visualisation of the prototype is shown in Picture 8-1 and
Picture 8-2. The new RFID Reader project will introduce slight changes to the A1-PC1 prototype. The A1 module
components will be placed directly on the main board. PCB layout will be redesigned to match the FCC and other
regional requirements.
