Adjusting the white balance
manually

If the picture is being taken in a studio lit by
TV lighting
We recommend that you record in the n indoor
mode.

When you record under fluorescent lighting
Use the automatic white balance or hold mode.
Your camcorder may not adjust the white
balance correctly in the n indoor mode.

In the automatic white balance mode
Point your camcorder at the white subject for
about 10 seconds after setting the POWER switch
to CAMERA to get better adjustment when:
– You detach the battery for replacement.
– You bring your comcorder from the interior of a

house holding the exposure, or vice versa.

In the hold white balance mode
Set the white balance to AUTO and reset to
HOLD after few seconds when:
– You change the PROGRAM AE mode.
– You bring your comcorder from the interior of a

house, or vice versa.

Bij opnemen onder felle studiolampen
Hierbij is het aanbevolen de n “IN DOOR”
binnenshuis-kleurbalansinstelling in te
schakelen.

Bij opnemen onder fluorescerende lampen
Gebruik de automatische kleurbalans-instelling
of de “HOLD” vasthoud-stand. De camcorder zal
met de n “IN DOOR” binnenshuis-
kleurbalansinstelling niet de juiste kleurbalans
kunnen bereiken.

Met de automatische kleurbalans-instelling
Richt de camcorder ongeveer 10 seconden lang
op een wit oppervlak, nadat u de POWER
schakelaar op “CAMERA” zet, alvorens te gaan
opnemen, nadat:
– u de batterij hebt verwisseld; of
– u de camcorder hebt meegenomen van binnen

naar buitenshuis of andersom, met
vastgehouden belichtingsinstelling.

Bij opnemen met de HOLD vasthoud-stand
Zet de kleurbalans eerst even op “AUTO” en
enkele seconden later terug in de “HOLD”
vasthoud-stand, nadat:
– u een ander PROGRAM AE

belichtingsprogramma kiest; of

– als u de camcorder van binnen naar buiten hebt

gebracht of andersom.
