Overview
The StorTrends 1108 is a 1U chassis with eight hot swappable drive bays that can be used as a NAS or JBOD
(Just a Bunch of Disks) solution. The StorTrends 1108-N has built-in intelligence that is rarely found in such an
offering. The StorTrends 1108-N offers hot swappable redundant power supplies, cooling fans (series 905),
AMI’s Indium embedded motherboard and custom-designed NAS software. The chassis includes two AMI
backplanes (series 904) with four single channel Ultra160 (Ultra320 ready) slots each and IPMI support.
