Changing a chart’s usage
During navigation, the 961 automatically selects and displays
on the CHART screen the charts for your cruising area. To
help the 961 manage this chart selection process, you can
mark a chart in the database as either PREFER, NORMAL, or
AVOID
on the CHART screen the charts for your cruising area. To

If you specifically want to mark HCRF charts as prefer, normal, or
avoid, please note that you do so on the same screen as BSB

Displaying a list of charts on a CD
You can display a list of charts on either a BSB Chart CD or an
HCRF Update CD (it isn’t possible to display a list of HCRF
charts on HCRF Chart CDs).

1. Choose the CD that contains the charts you want to list,
and insert that CD into the drive.
