Phaser 300X Color Printer
Installing the printer’s software
Packaged with your printer is a CD-ROM and a set of floppy diskettes  
containing the software you need to use the printer.  Included are drivers, 
printer description files, color sampler charts, and utility files.
The Phaser 300X printer’s CD-ROM and diskettes include an installer 
application that automatically installs the printer’s software onto your 
Macintosh hard disk.  You can select a standard installation (Easy Install) 
from the diskettes or CD-ROM, or select individual items (Custom Install) 
from the CD-ROM only.  See the table on page 2-3 for an overview of the 
Phaser 300X Installer.  
To install and use a driver with your printer, follow the steps outlined in the 
following table.
