Q. What are the necessary components for the Multipoint Broadband
Wireless System?
A. Headend (HE):
Cisco uBR7223/7246/7246VXR Universal Broadband router
♦ 
WT−2751 Multipoint Headend Line Card − up to four for each HE; supports up to
1024 simultaneous users
♦ 
WT−2781 Multipoint Quad Power Feed Panel − one for up to two line cards
♦ 
Power supply (−48VDC)
♦ 
HE transverter (outdoor unit (ODU)) − one or two for each line card, depending upon
whether diversity is employed
♦ 
HE duplexer − one for each ODU
Note: The orientation of the installed duplexer determines transmit (TX) high or
receive (RX) high frequency in configuration.
♦ 
Antenna(s) − either omnidirectional or sectorized
♦ 
Lightning arrestors
♦ 
Subscriber Unit (SU):
Cisco 2600/3600 Series routers (2610, 2611, 2612, 2613, 2620, 2621, 3620, 3640,
3661, 3662)

WT−2755 Multipoint Subscriber Network Module (NM)
