Before you begin:
1. Provision the StadiumVision Director Server in its production location. See the
Cisco StadiumVision Director Server Hardware Installation Guide.
2. Install StadiumVision Director on the StadiumVision Director Server. See the
Cisco StadiumVision Director Installation and Upgrade Guide.
3. Configure a DHCP server for your network so that the DMP can obtain an IP
address. The DHCP Server should be configured to allocate IP address leases
as indefinite (or permanent). This is required to have the DMP maintain the
same IP address throughout the preparation process (e.g., through firmware
upgrade reboots, etc.) as well as afterwards.

As an alternative, you can use the Cisco Network Registrar (CNR). CNR
provides a feature-rich DHCP and DNS server that can be used in the Cisco
StadiumVision network. For more information about using CNR with
StadiumVision, see the Cisco Network Registrar Best Practices Guide for
StadiumVision.
