Configuring Date and Time Settings in DefensePro
This section describes configuring basic DefensePro date and time settings, and also
Radware DefensePro DDoS Mitigation for Cisco Firepower does not support Network Time Protocol (NTP)
synchronization.
Radware DefensePro DDoS Mitigation for Cisco Firepower synchronizes with the time and date of the host.
You cannot change the time or date on Radware DefensePro DDoS Mitigation for Cisco Firepower. However you
can

set Daylight Saving time parameters. Additionally, in the CLI, you can set the timezone, with the command
services ntp time-zone

Configuring DefensePro Daylight Saving
DefensePro supports daylight savings time. You can configure the daylight savings time start and end dates and
times. During daylight savings time, the device automatically adds one hour to the system clock. The device also
indicates whether it is on standard time or daylight saving time.
Note:
When the system clock is manually configured, the system time is changed only when daylight saving time
starts or ends. When daylight saving time is enabled during the daylight saving time period, the device does not
change the system time.
To configure DefensePro daylight saving
1.
In the Configuration perspective, select Setup > Global Parameters > Time Settings > Daylight
Saving
.
2.
Configure the parameters, and then, click Submit.
